Ya gotta love the smell of a clean baby!

Our sweet boy after a bath! he's such a sweetie! Man i feel like he's growing SO fast. The other day I was getting him dressed, and there were these cute lil puma shoes that I got for a baby present and I LOVE THEM they are ADORABLE but I tried to put them on and they weren't fitting!!! finally i got them to fit. but the whole time I was thinking man if these dont fit I'm going to cry! Not because these adorable shoes weren't fitting but because he was growing TOOO FAST!!. I just can't believe that our lil payton-boy is 3 1/2 months Already!. I feel like he's going to be going off to college any minute. hehe i'm just cherishing every moment, every giggle, every wiggle and smile that I have with him.

IT'S GROWING!!!

that's our tomato plant in the back. Those are our PUMPKINS in the front. I hope that they are ready for us to have at halloween time. That will be great to have Paytons FIRST halloween pumpkin come from our very own garden! :)

So we came back from Ekalaka and took a look outside and we were soooo excited to see how fast our garden is growing! YAY. This is the progress of 3 weeks. I hope to eat the tomatos soon and to have yummy fried zuchini in the near future. yummy.

Our Ekalaka Visit

ALL TUCKERED OUT! It was quite a long drive to Ekalaka,MT but we finally made it! It normally would take Bryan and myself around 10 hours to get there... having a baby CHANGED that number dramatically. First of all we packed EVERYTHING that we could think of, for every "what if" situation that could arise for Payton. So our car was packed to the max. We left after Bry got off work (5 o'clock) and made it to Billings by 11:30pm. we decided to stay the night in Billings and drive the rest of the way the next day. It was a great idea because we probably would have got to Ekalaka by 4 AM. So we stopped for a much needed sleep. Overall Payton was a "pretty good" driver esspecially for his first time driving a REALLY long distance... but after a while he just wasnt having his carseat Anymore. So we got to Grandma and Grandpa Hamblins house at 1 o'clock Sunday mornin. After being hugged and kissed by grandma and great grandma out lil tyke fell right to sleep for a brief but desperately needed nap. We Had a WONDERFUL trip. It was quite a long drive for such short time with Bryans parents, but was WELL WORTH IT! Bryan's parents home is so warm and inviting. I can't wait to plan our next trip out there.

It was such a wonderful experience to see Great Grandma Hamblin. I was so glad that Payton got a chance to be held and loved by her this weekend. Payton is her 72nd Great Grandbaby!!! When she told me that I nearly fell out of my chair. That's quite a lot of babies! Her Nickname is Grandma-Great! She is JUST THAT!

Grandma and Grandpa Hamblin admiring our sweet payton boy! It was so cute to see Jack (Bryan's dad) this big burley man, turn to MUSH when he talked payton. It was a cute sight to see.

Man Payton LOVED being with "Gramma Hunny!" (That's celinda's nickname!) I'm pretty sure that Gramma hunny was happy to have him there too! :)

Bryan with "lil mama"

Since we have lived in our house there has been this cat that thinks she lives here too. We think that it's the previous owners cat. They were an older couple and when they moved we think they forgot her!? Anyway we believe that she is just here to stay. We have seen her through 2 litters now. The first litter has grown up and moved away, we actually got attached to one of her kitties from the first litter. (we named him tony) But she now has another litter roamin our back yard. Bryan has been lucky enough to catch one of them to pet it. (it obviously freaks out though) and the mamma cat trusts us enough to play with her kitties. I am allegic to cats so i don't play with them. Every now and then I like to pet the mama cat, she's a really sweet/gentle cat, but I have to run in and wash my hands Right away after I pet her...before I have an allergy attack! :(

I have learned a lot about me recently (well... within the past year) I have found out that I am not that big of a fan of Big dogs unless they are MISSY... (my inlaws dog) she's a great dog! she's the ONLY exception to these rules! But I think that big dogs should strictly be outdoors, and even then.... when I go outside ...they can't jump all over me or lick me (I don't like the licking AT ALL u just don't know where their mouths have been) and I have heard it plenty of times how dogs mouths are cleaner than humans... but I don't care I still think that it's sick.

Growing up I really didn't like cats, But I think it was because i was allergic to them.... but I found out that I wish i wasn't allergic to cats because I kinda DO like em.... cats can stay outside...and roam and they will ALWAYS come back! you don't really have to worry much about them, and they are so cute when they rub up against your legs when they want you to pet them, and when you do pet them they soak it up! I have become quite fond of this backyard cat of ours. We have only named her "lil mama" just because she is a mama. but I want to come up with a better name for her... so if you all have any Ideas on what to name her I would love to hear it. anyway I guess we have to get out of our denial that she's never going to leave, and just embrace the fact that she is here to stay.

Bryans 1st Love!

For those of you who don't really know my husband Bryan... he has practically been married once before! This First love of his is ...a tad bit older than he is. She was born in 1956. She's a lil rusty and has a whole bunch of wear on her! Hardly moves anymore and smells... REALLY BAD!! And anytime you go around her ... you smell just like her! But he's actually got me to love her too! Go Figure! (By the way I'm talking about his truck if you haven't already guessed it by now!) HAHA.
When we first started dating, Bryan told me ALLLLL about his 1956 Dodge Pickup, how it was his grandpa's and how he's going to fix it up and drive me around in it. and all i heard was BLAH blah BLAH! (for the most part i really didn't care too much for cars/trucks) haha. Then...When he was living in Ekalaka, he got her running again, I got a call on my parents answering machine that was HILARIOUS! Bryan was so EXCITED that he got her to work again that he couldn't even talk straight, or catch his breath! My dad and I heard the message together and just had to look at eachother and laugh.
When I went and drove it for the first time, I thought Man I hope I don't get into an accident in this thing, It might blow up! :) The truck never the less has followed us wherever we have lived. Every time we moved... she came strollin along with us! Bryan still talked all about this truck of his, and more that he talked about her the more I actually.... started listening, and the more I started noticing Trucks JUST like her on the road, or Older Cars that I think would look great if they were fixed up as well! I even started knowing THE NAMES of the cars/trucks he was talking about!!! :) (crazy!!!) (remind you ... i'm not a "car" person) Then a few weeks ago Bryan had talked about selling some of her parts, and possibly giving the truck to a relative...So he can clean up the backyard and "make me happy." And right then and there my HEART started to hurt! I had NO IDEA how attached to this truck I had become! I told Bryan... "uh... are you sure you want to do that?! It's been a dream of yours to fix her up!" and i thought to myself, I dont want to give her away! ......All at once.... I don't know how she did it... but she made me fall in love with her too! Dont get me wrong....I still think that she needs LOTS of work, and that every time I go for a ride I get frustrated because I smell like gasoline! But I really do LOVE this truck! (definately not as much as Bryan) but I think she has a great charm and adds a lot to our back yard, that's why today I took pictures of her and admired her for the FIRST time in a LONG time!

Who would have thought!?

What a Wonderful World!

I really love Spring/Summer! Today was a great day! Wonderful weather... FINALLY! The last few days have been thunder/lightning storms and lots and lots of rain/hail. Which is ok every now and then but I feel like we have had more rain than sun lately! So today i decided to go out in our backyard and take pictures of all the wonderful roses that are blooming. I really think that Yellow is one of my favorite colors!

K Don't Call Me The Bird Lady!

So I went to the dollar store the other day when my niece was staying with me and bought some birdhouses. And we had a blast painting bird houses. I thought that they looked so cute hangin in my tree that I bought 8 more and had my nephews paint some with me and we had a great time doing it. Here's what they look like all hanging up on our "blooming" rose bush! ENJOY!

Our new living room layout!

After a LOT of convincing.... I finally broke Bryan down and was able to sell TWO of our couches! We had WALL TO WALL couches. Which was Great if we had 20 people at our house everyday.... but we usually don't. hehe So we sold them on Craigslist and got some good money for them. I spent a few hours rearranging furniture and putting up pictures and this is what we are left with....What do you think?! (sorry some of these pictures are really dark)

The Cutest Payton I Know!

OK now... I know that as a mom I'm not supposed to laugh when my baby cries.... but C'MON look how cute that is!!!! :o)
(He really didn't like the flash!)

OUR SWEET BOY!

Well that's our boy.. he's growin like a lil weed. He goes in for his vaccinations in a few days. We will then find out how much he weighs and how tall he is.

Payton's Baby Blessing

Our "Payton boy" looks just like his daddy!

We were so happy that

we had family there!

Look how Payton just

lights up with Bryan!

Our sweet lil baby got blessed 2 sundays ago. He was blessed by his loving father! How wonderful it is that we have the priesthood in our home. I think we take it for granted sometimes. It's sad to think that there are so many out there that don't have the power of the priesthood in their homes. Or those that don't even know about the priesthood. I feel so Blessed that Bryan is worthy enough to partake of the blessings of the Priesthood power. I know that bryan was so happy to be able to bless our sweet son. It was a Beautiful day, we had family come over after church and had a bar-b-que at our house. hamburgers/ hotdogs/ fruit/ cake and icecream and soda were on the menu for the day. we had it picnic style, We had lots of help from everyone there! it was so good to see family that we haven't seen for a while like ben and heidi and their family. it was the first time i even saw austin! (crazy) it was also great to see my sister and her family! and holly and shon and their fam... and of course sweet whitters was there too! I know that it was paytons blessing day but that day I felt SO BLESSED that we had family that lived close enough to come be a part of our special day.

the ham fam

Well this has been such anventure the last 2 1/2 months. Bryan and I have had such a blast getting to take care of our lil payton. He's been such a blast the last lil while so many exciting things have been happening he is now lifting his head with his really strong neck muscles! :) and is laughing and smiling A WHOLE LOT! whenever he sees bryan's face he smiles and when he hears my voice he wants me around! (which can be a good thing or a bad thing) hehe We had paytons cousin sarah come to stay with us for about 4 days. We found out that she had Croupe. (poor thing) she was coughing a whole lot! after she left lil payton started to cough! so i decided to take him into the doctors before matters got worse! we found out that he had the beginning stages of croupe. so we had to give him some steroids to open up his lil lungs and get him all better! his cough has gone away... but he now is keeping us up with his lil boogies! he is snoring like CRAZY! Bryan told me this morning... OK what are we going to do about the SNORING?! haha i had to have a good laugh!

I am now battling a big ol case of cabin fever, so i have to make sure that i get out of the house for at least an hour a day so i don't go TOO crazy. for all those who know me i'm pretty... well... hyper! and always am on the go, so when the doctor said that i had to stay inside with payton for 2 whole months i thought... (maaaaan what am i going to DO!) so I decided that right when he turned 2 months old i was going to go to my sisters house! i stayed for a week and had a BLAST! we went wakeboarding, to the zoo, my sister bought me a ONE HOUR FULL BODY MASSAGE!!! yay! that was so great! that alone was worth the trip! hehe justkiddin. I really love spending time with my sister too! so my hour a day out of the house pretty much consists of going on a walk to the Rigby library and finding new books that are interesting and getting on the computer! so i'm really going to get better at "blogging". my sister and i are goin to start a lil book club if you all want to join... we are starting with reading that book called "my sisters keeper" the movie is out in theaters right now but i would love to read the book before going to see it. well hope all is well... i'm really new to this whole... "blogging" thing so don't expect anything toooo fancy! :) have a great day and know that you are blessed and loved!
